The entrance exam for the third year is a special exam done on a yearly basis by the faculty for graduates of the Lebanese University, Faculty of Sciences, who wish to continue their educational pursuits and become engineers!
This exam is only for students who already hold a STEM degree and wish to obtain an engineering degree. The exam usually occurs in September and consists of six distinct parts:
Math (Coef. 5)
Computer Science (Coef. 3)
Dynamics (Coef. 3)
Chemistry (Coef. 2)
Strength of materials (mΓ©canique des matΓ©riaux) (Coef. 3)
Electromagnetism (Coef. 3)
The passing grade is an average of 12/20.

In the new program, the required course materials have been altered based on the students' targeted major/section. For instance, a student applying to the Mechanical Engineering branch will have different courses to study than another student applying to the Chemical Engineering branch.Β
